I’m Francisco Barahona-DiMichele and I play rhythm guitar and take turns singing in Grawlix.
For those of you who have known us from the start, we have only love and appreciation for your continued support. For you new listeners, we thank you for giving us even a second of your time to check us out.
Our adventure has already been pretty crazy in the short time we’ve been together. Too much to ever cover in a single post but rest assured, you’ll get to hear every story in due time. For now, we’ve been hard at work on this new website and our first full length record (more on the album very soon)!
We wanted to create a space where our listeners can check out all things Grawlix and even get to know us a little better. And so, today we would like to introduce the new G-Blog where we will share all of our mad musings, thoughts, and sometimes just plain random ridiculousness - so strap in and hold onto your butts haha!
I thought it’d be fun to kick off this new shared space with a cock-tail napkin poem I scribbled down sometime ago. We have no plans to put it to music right now, but you never know!
Let us know in the comments if you’d like to see more cocktail napkin poetry and feel free to share some of your own if you have any. We may even repost our favorites (pending permission of course). And feel free to share our link if the mood strikes.
With all that said, I won’t ramble on any longer haha.
P.S. - I refer to myself as Cisco - it’s short for Francisco. Yeah. Haha!
Wandering through this empty little town
The night loses interest as the sun comes round
The stars take their leave with a ‘night cap’ yawn
As we try to remember
Why we laughed so hard
